We are an up scale comfortable coffeehouse where you are encouraged to come in and stay. We offer the highest quality products with the atmosphere and comforts of home. We serve a broad spectrum of folks ranging from the downtown business community during the day to a younger 20's and 30's generation during the evening and weekends. We have free -easy to access- wireless Internet, books, table games, big screen LCD and plasma TV, and feature live music on the weekends. We are committed to the renovation of the downtown Yakima community and we are proud to have a street level and underground space in a historic 1916 building formerly known as the Michigan Hotel. We have kept as much as possible of the original building including the brick exterior, upstairs wood floor, wood beams, and concrete walls and floors downstairs (enhanced in a unique way). We opened on July 22, 2008 and have received a tremendous response by our customers and community. People love our coffee (thanks to Stumptown) and the comfort and feel of the up scale environment. We are often likened to larger city (Seattle) coffeehouses and the atmosphere and vibe are welcomed by our customers as a needed addition to the Yakima community. We very much want to do our part in seeing the development of this historic area as an arts and entertainment community and are excited by what is taking place. |
